Deborah Grieves has been enchanted by magic and myth since very early childhood. Raised in a loving home in the San Francisco Bay Area by an English teacher and a librarian, she learned quickly from her parents the joys of reading, writing, art and the importance of imagination. Deborah spent many years writing short stories and poetry and taking various art classes. Fantasy painting is a relatively new passion for Deborah, one that she has embraced wholeheartedly in the past couple of years, and watercolors have become her medium of choice. Deborah currently lives in the beautiful Southern Oregon Rogue Valley with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
