Katy Jones is a British artist, born in 1977 and is now based in rainy Manchester, UK. She lives with her husband and small daughter, who occasionally gives her time off to work as an artist and writer. Katy often draws inspiration for her artwork from literary sources, such as Shakespeare, the Bible and various legends and mythologies. She is also inspired by the stylised but organic forms found in gothic architecture, Art Nouveau and celtic design.
