Born in the Netherlands. I always had a fascination of nature, books, and drawing.
By the age of 14 I came into contact with fantasy books,
and was so intrigued by the genre that I wanted to draw them.
Before the age of 19 I never dreamed of painting them with watercolours, thinking of the medium as being vague and blurry.
But after seeing the incredible art of Stephanie Pui Mun Law, Amy Brown,
Linda Ravenscroft, James Browne, and off course the magical realm of Brian Froud, that vision was soon changed. I tried the medium and fell in love with it.
My biggest dream is to one day illustrate a book cover, and maybe even fill up an art book with my own work.
But until that day comes, I will just keep on painting.
