I enjoy painting the unknown & fantastical. Growing up in an artistic household, I now teach at The Des Moines Art Center mentoring children from the ages of 6 to 17 years to be imaginative. I have licensed my work since I graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, aiming to bring what I love into the world of retail and in childrens' books. I love all the possibilities watercolor and colored pencil has to offer and bringing the rhythm of life into all of my pieces. My work reflects on the light of love and the emotions we live through as human beings. I am currently residing in Iowa with my husband Brian, and our two cats Madeline & Talor.
